adidas Flora Liverpool Half Marathon

You are probably aware that the above event is taking place in a few weeks time. Having taken over the half marathon last held in October, we want to ensure that Liverpool hosts one of the UK's biggest and best pre-London half marathons. 

We anticipate around 5,000 runners starting at 10am on Sunday March 13th, with the majority finishing back in the park again after an enjoyable lope down in to the city centre and back, before finishing in the park again. This new route and the inevitable logistical challenges are going to ensure a busy time for all of us here on the London Marathon team in coming weeks, but we are confident of providing a very high quality event. 

We know from Bill Sergeant that you have in the past assisted with the smooth running of other events in Liverpool and would ask for your assistance in this new venture. There are many roles to be filled and your help would be very much appreciated. 

All Volunteers on the day will receive an official adidas Flora Liverpool Half Marathon top, currently retailing at £45, as well as a packed lunch and hopefully a very enjoyable day.

This is the first year a major running event in the north of England will have been organised by he London Marathon team and we are making a long-term commitment to ensuring that this becomes one of the great Half Marathons in the UK. I hope you are able to join us.
